SAS Music Program is a project at Secondary Academy for Success in Bothell, a public alternative high school. Students choose the direction and songs to learn and put together concerts with help from staff and local musician RL Heyer. SAS has performed at Belltown Yacht Club, Highway 99 Blues Club (RIP), McMenamins Anderson School, and the Washington Blues Society "Best of the Blues."
Welcome to Seattle's "Dad Pop" band, Bigtooth. The band is part chorus, part campfire song, part skeleton key and part honey pot, dripping with melody. Electric-blue harmonies buoy big guitar chords and bright lightning bolt rhythms. No influence is out of bounds, no wave unworthy of the surf.
Annie J delivers a close and personal blend of retro soul and modern pop. Her vocal mastery and presence as a performer make for a playful and moving display that pays homage to acts like Dusty Springfield, Whitney Houston, Janelle Monae, and Solange.
At times heartfelt and reserved, at times powerful and hard-hitting, Annie J's sparkling voice and colorful style are uniquely hers.
